BMAC's Summer Bash in aid of Kidney Research UK
Join us on Saturday 3 August at Milngavie Townhall for our Summer Bash. We'll be punching, kicking and throwing each other all day to raise funds for Kidney Research UK.
Hugh Russell, BMAC's chief instructor, said “we are all very excited for our Summer Bash. It will be a wonderful day of martial arts to support Kidney Research UK. We chose our charity after a member of our club was diagnosed with a kidney condition”.
Kidney disease is rising and there are estimated to be around 7.2 million people in the UK currently living with chronic kidney disease. That’s 10% of the population. It destroys lives, treatments are gruelling and there is no cure. BMAC is supporting Kidney Research UK in their vital research.
Hugh continues “our club has been a part of the community for many years and we hope that as many people as possible will support our Summer Bash”.
Donations can be made at www.justgiving.com/page/bmac2024
